Websites for roofers and siding contractors.
A roof is the most expensive thing most homeowners will ever buy without shopping around, and they will decide who to let up there from a phone, in a driveway, the morning after a storm.

There are two customers and they arrive on completely different days. One has a stain spreading across a bedroom ceiling and needs somebody today. The other has known for two years that the roof is near the end, has finally decided, and is about to spend fifteen or twenty thousand dollars on something they cannot inspect and will never see up close.
A full replacement is worth what a hundred repairs are worth, and it is decided entirely on whether a stranger trusts you on their roof.
The same mistake, in almost every roofing company on the Island.
Roofing sites are built for the emergency and lose the replacement, which is where the money is. The second customer is not looking for speed. They are looking for evidence that you will still exist in eight years when the warranty matters, that you are insured, that the crew is yours rather than whoever was available, and that the last twenty roofs looked like the photographs.
None of that is a design problem. It is an ordering problem — the page answers the questions you find interesting before the ones the customer is actually asking. Run your own site through the scanner and you can see the mechanical half of it in about fifteen seconds, free.
What a roofing company site has to do.
Not a feature list. These are the six things that decide whether the phone rings, in this trade specifically.
- Insurance and licence in writing — Suffolk or Nassau licence number, proof of liability and workers comp, stated plainly. A homeowner is putting people on their house and most roofing sites never mention it.
- Storm damage and claims answered — Whether you handle the insurance claim, whether you do the inspection, whether you tarp. After a storm this is the entire question.
- Real roofs, addresses withheld — Your own completed jobs, on houses that look like the ones in your towns. Stock aerials of a roof in Arizona persuade nobody here.
- Warranty stated, both kinds — Manufacturer and workmanship, separately, in years. This is the single biggest lever on a replacement decision and it is usually buried.
- Financing, if you offer it — A fifteen-thousand-dollar decision often turns on whether it can be spread. Silence reads as no.
- Emergency and scheduled kept apart — A leak today and a replacement in spring are two different customers. One page for both converts neither properly.
What your customers actually type.
Ranking for “roofing and siding contractors Long Island” is a ten-year fight against agencies with a decade of links, and it is not where your customers are anyway. These are the searches a roofing company can realistically take, and what decides each one.
- “roofer near me” — Storm-driven and urgent. Proximity and reviews decide it; the site decides whether the tap becomes a call.
- “roof replacement cost [town]” — The considered purchase, searched months ahead. Whoever publishes honest arithmetic gets remembered.
- “roof leak repair [town]” — Emergency intent. Answer "can you come today" above the fold or lose it.
- “siding contractor long island” — A separate, high-value job that most roofing sites bury in a service list and rank for nowhere.
Every one of those is narrower than the term you were probably told to chase, and every one of them converts better, because the person typing it has already decided what they need.
What we have actually built in this trade.
We have not built a roofing site on Long Island yet and we are not going to dress up somebody else’s work as ours. The nearest real thing we can show you is a live, paying home-services client at bandbpaintingbythepro.com — same kind of customer, same trust problem, same reliance on before-and-after proof.
Three steps. Seven days. No runaround.
Free diagnostic call
Thirty minutes, free. We look at which roofers are taking the searches in your towns and what their sites prove that yours does not. You keep what we find whether or not you hire us.
Build week
We build around your own completed roofs, your licence and your warranty. You see it working before anything is final, and you say what to change while it is still cheap to change.
Live in 7 days — or it’s free
Live before the next storm week, when the searches spike. Seven days from the call, and the clock pauses whenever we are waiting on you — so the only thing that can blow the deadline is us.
Before you book.
Most of my work comes from storms and referrals. Does a site matter?
It matters most exactly then. A referral or a knock after a storm ends with the homeowner searching your name to check you are real. If nothing credible comes up, the job cools between the handshake and the contract, and you never find out that is what happened.
Should I put prices on a roofing site?
Not a number, but a range and what moves it — size, pitch, layers, material. Roofing is the trade where homeowners are most afraid of being taken, and being the one company that explains the arithmetic is worth more than being the cheapest.
What about the insurance claim work?
Say clearly whether you do it. Homeowners after a storm are frightened of the claim, not the roof, and the contractor who takes that off their hands gets called first.
How fast can it be live?
Seven days from the call, or you do not pay. The clock pauses whenever we are waiting on you for photos.

Where we work.
The studio is in East Islip. Everything below is a short drive, and the town page is usually the faster way in if you already know where you are.
Storm season decides this. Be findable before it.
