LONG ISLAND · BUILT FOR ONE TRADE

Websites for pet groomers.

People are far fussier about who handles their dog than about who cuts their own hair, and they are choosing you from photographs of other people’s dogs.

THE MOMENT YOU GET HIRED

Where the decision actually happens.

Somebody has just moved, or their old groomer retired, or the dog is matted and it has become urgent. They search, they look at photographs, and they are checking two things before anything else: does this place look calm and safe, and can I actually get an appointment this month.

A regular grooming client comes back every six to eight weeks for the life of the dog. Losing one at the booking step costs years, not one appointment.

WHY MOST OF THESE SITES LOSE

The same mistake, in almost every grooming salon on the Island.

Grooming sites lose on both. The gallery is stock photos of a poodle nobody there has ever met, prices are absent because they depend on the dog, and booking is a phone number during hours when the owner is at work and the groomer is holding a dog. Three barriers, every one of them removable.

None of that is a design problem. It is an ordering problem — the page answers the questions you find interesting before the ones the customer is actually asking. Run your own site through the scanner and you can see the mechanical half of it in about fifteen seconds, free.

WHAT WE BUILD

What a grooming salon site has to do.

Not a feature list. These are the six things that decide whether the phone rings, in this trade specifically.

  • Your own dogs, by breed — Real before-and-afters of dogs you actually groomed, grouped by breed or coat type so an owner can find one like theirs. This is the entire sale.
  • Prices by size and coat, published — Nobody expects one number. A grid by weight and coat type answers the question instead of dodging it, and the salons that dodge it get skipped.
  • Booking that does not need a phone call — The owner is at work and you are holding a dog. A request form with breed, size and preferred week catches the bookings a phone number loses.
  • Temperament and handling addressed — Anxious dogs, seniors, first groom, cats. Saying how you handle a nervous dog reassures the owner who has had a bad experience somewhere else — and most of them have.
  • Vaccination and safety policy stated — It reads as professional rather than fussy, and it prevents the awkward conversation at the door.
  • Mobile service area, if you travel — How far you come and what you need. Vague coverage loses mobile bookings outright.
THE SEARCHES WORTH OWNING

What your customers actually type.

Ranking for “pet groomers Long Island” is a ten-year fight against agencies with a decade of links, and it is not where your customers are anyway. These are the searches a grooming salon can realistically take, and what decides each one.

  • “dog groomer near me” — Proximity and reviews decide it. The site decides whether the tap becomes a booking.
  • “[breed] grooming [town]” — Breed-specific searching is how owners actually look and almost no salon site names breeds.
  • “mobile dog grooming [town]” — A separate, growing search with its own logistics, rarely given its own page.
  • “dog grooming prices near me” — Price-first and huge. A published grid is the cheapest win in the trade.

Every one of those is narrower than the term you were probably told to chase, and every one of them converts better, because the person typing it has already decided what they need.

PROOF, NOT PROMISES

What we have actually built in this trade.

We have not built for a Long Island groomer yet and would rather say so. The closest thing we can show you is the appointment work we have done for barbershops and nail studios in Bay Shore and East Islip — the same problem of turning a photograph into a held slot — and the free scanner, which grades your current site in about fifteen seconds.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. Seven days. No runaround.

01

Free diagnostic call

Thirty minutes, free. We count the steps between someone finding you and actually holding an appointment. You keep what we find whether or not you hire us.

02

Build week

We build around your own dogs, a real price grid and booking that works while you are busy. You see it working before anything is final, and you say what to change while it is still cheap to change.

03

Live in 7 days — or it’s free

Live in a week, in time for the next grooming cycle. Seven days from the call, and the clock pauses whenever we are waiting on you — so the only thing that can blow the deadline is us.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Before you book.

My prices depend on the dog. Can I still publish them?

Publish a grid by size and coat, and say plainly that matting or temperament can move it. Owners understand that. What loses them is a page that says "call for pricing" when three other salons gave them a number.

I am fully booked. Why would I need a website?

Because being fully booked is fragile and a waiting list is not. A site that takes requests while you are busy lets you fill cancellations in minutes instead of losing the slot, and it means a quiet month never starts from zero.

Does Facebook not do all this already?

It reaches people who already follow you. Search reaches the person who just moved into your town and has never heard of you, and Google cannot read your Facebook photos. The site is how the work you already have becomes findable.

What about mobile grooming?

It needs its own page and an honest service area. It is a different search with different logistics, and buried inside a salon page it ranks for nothing.

Fifteen people have rated this, and none of them gave it four.

Where we work.

The studio is in East Islip. Everything below is a short drive, and the town page is usually the faster way in if you already know where you are.
