LONG ISLAND · BUILT FOR ONE TRADE

Websites for general contractors.

You are asking somebody to let you take their kitchen apart and trust that you will put it back. No other trade has to clear a higher bar on a website.

THE MOMENT YOU GET HIRED

Where the decision actually happens.

A homeowner has been putting off the kitchen for three years and has finally decided. They are about to invite three strangers into their house to quote forty thousand dollars of work that will make the place unliveable for two months. They will shortlist those three almost entirely online, and the deciding factor is not price — it is which of you looks least likely to disappear halfway through.

One kitchen or one addition is worth a year of small jobs, and it is decided before you ever get to talk.

WHY MOST OF THESE SITES LOSE

The same mistake, in almost every contracting company on the Island.

Contractor sites are the vaguest in any trade. "Quality craftsmanship since 1998", a rotating gallery that could be anyone’s, "licensed and insured" without a number, and no sense of what a project actually costs or how long a kitchen takes. Every one of those is a reason for a nervous homeowner to call the next name instead.

None of that is a design problem. It is an ordering problem — the page answers the questions you find interesting before the ones the customer is actually asking. Run your own site through the scanner and you can see the mechanical half of it in about fifteen seconds, free.

WHAT WE BUILD

What a contracting company site has to do.

Not a feature list. These are the six things that decide whether the phone rings, in this trade specifically.

  • Licence number and insurance, stated — Suffolk or Nassau licence number in writing, not the words "licensed and insured". In this trade the number is the proof.
  • Whole projects, not scattered photos — Before, during and after of the same job, with a line about what it involved. One complete project persuades more than thirty stray photographs.
  • Timelines a homeowner can plan around — How long a kitchen takes, how long a bathroom, what happens to the house meanwhile. The unspoken fear is being trapped in a building site for a season.
  • Price brackets by project type — Nobody expects a fixed number. A range and what moves it separates you from every site that says "contact us".
  • Named project types, separately — Kitchen, bathroom, basement, addition, whole-house. Each is its own search with its own value, and one "remodeling" page ranks for none.
  • Reviews from projects, not errands — A five-star review of a door handle does not sell an addition. Surface the ones that match the work you want more of.
THE SEARCHES WORTH OWNING

What your customers actually type.

Ranking for “general contractors and remodelers Long Island” is a ten-year fight against agencies with a decade of links, and it is not where your customers are anyway. These are the searches a contracting company can realistically take, and what decides each one.

  • “kitchen remodel [town]” — The big one, searched calmly and months ahead, and almost always won by whoever made it a real page.
  • “bathroom renovation cost long island” — Price-first. A published bracket gets you found long before the shortlist forms.
  • “home addition contractor near me” — Highest value in the trade and decided entirely on whether you look permanent.
  • “basement finishing [town]” — Specific, seasonal and rarely written for properly.

Every one of those is narrower than the term you were probably told to chase, and every one of them converts better, because the person typing it has already decided what they need.

PROOF, NOT PROMISES

What we have actually built in this trade.

We have not built for a Long Island general contractor yet, and we will say that rather than borrow somebody’s work. The closest real evidence is a paying home-services client at bandbpaintingbythepro.com — same customer, same fear, same reliance on proof of finished work.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. Seven days. No runaround.

01

Free diagnostic call

Thirty minutes, free. We look at which contractors take the kitchen and bathroom searches in your towns. You keep what we find whether or not you hire us.

02

Build week

We build around whole finished projects, your licence and honest timelines. You see it working before anything is final, and you say what to change while it is still cheap to change.

03

Live in 7 days — or it’s free

Live in a week, before the season people decide in. Seven days from the call, and the clock pauses whenever we are waiting on you — so the only thing that can blow the deadline is us.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Before you book.

All my work is word of mouth. Why would I need a site?

Because word of mouth ends on Google. A neighbour gives your name, the homeowner searches it that evening to check you are real, and if nothing credible comes up the referral cools before the call. The site protects the referrals you have already earned, which is cheaper than finding new ones.

Should I publish what a kitchen costs?

A bracket, and the reasons it moves. Homeowners are terrified of the open-ended bill in this trade more than in any other, and the contractor who explains the arithmetic instead of hiding it gets called first.

Do I need separate pages for kitchens and bathrooms?

Yes, and it is the single highest-return change most contractor sites can make. They are different searches, different budgets and different customers, and a combined "remodeling" page competes for neither.

How fast can it be live?

Seven days from the call or you do not pay. The clock pauses whenever we are waiting on you for photographs, which is usually the slow part.
